My first blog: March 10, 2010

I'll try to catch everyone up to speed on what's going on in our lives. Patrick and I just recently moved to Birmingham, AL from the Montgomery area where we lived for two years while helping Patrick's dad at his church, New Horizons. Daddy "D" pastored in Prattville, Al for 14 years and through much prayer and fasting he decided to dissolve the church in May of 2009. We actually wanted to move back out to Dallas but God apparently had other plans for us. We were desiring to be on full time staff again at a church while continuing to have Patrick's graphic design business and of course his solo music career. Through a friend in Dallas we were connected to a pastor here in B'ham who was looking for a worship leader for his church. We visited The Worship Center back in October and we fell in love with the Pastor and his family and the church family. We knew without a doubt that this is where we were supposed to be. January 15th we made the move and we love our new home and our new church family. The church also hired me as the Worship ministry administrative assistant and I'm loving every minute of working with my best friend everyday. Patrick's album is now fully completed and the artwork and design has just been submitted so hopefully any day now we will have a release date and it will be for sale everywhere! Yay! God is so faithful.
